A fire-resistant glazed partitioning system providing integrity protection from 30-120 minutes, with compatible door integration up to 60 minutes of integrity.

Designed for internal glazed applications where fire integrity is required, the system forms transparent fire-resistant screens while maintaining a coordinated appearance across the partition and door assembly. Available in configurations from 30 to 120 minutes, it can be specified to suit different fire compartmentation requirements while retaining visibility and natural light.

Technishield® FAQs

The system is available in integrity-only configurations providing 30 or 60 minutes fire resistance, with options for glazed side panels and single or double door sets.

Yes. It can be configured with single or double doors, with options including overpanels and side panels. Non-rebated double-door configurations are also available.

Single doors can be specified up to 3000mm high and 1230mm wide. Double doors can be specified up to 2900mm high and 2800mm wide, while door sets with overpanels can reach up to 4000mm overall height.

Side panels are available from 300mm to 1100mm wide and connect to the relevant door frame using spigot joints.

The system uses wet glazing with ceramic tape and black fire-rated silicone, selected to suit the glass specification.

The system is detailed with fire-rated ironmongery including welded hinges, lever handles, a two-point fire-rated latch and deadlock, door closers, dropseals and fire-protection door seals. The final ironmongery must comply with the relevant fire certification.
