Single-glazedPartitioning
Our Single-glazed partitions are a great solution for spaces. They maximise natural light and create a clean, uninterrupted finish across the workspace.
Slimline single-glazed partitions deliver clean sightlines and dependable acoustic separation — an elegant, cost-effective way to divide space without sacrificing light.

FAQ's
Acoustic performance depends on the partition system, glass specification, joints and perimeter detailing. Optima single-glazed systems are available with different glass thicknesses and configurations to meet varying acoustic requirements, with tested performance reaching up to Rw40dB on selected systems.
Single-glazing can be appropriate where visual transparency, a reduced amount of framing and moderate acoustic separation are priorities. Double-glazing may be more suitable where the project requires higher levels of sound reduction. The decision should be based on the required acoustic performance, design intent, space use and overall partition build-up rather than glazing type alone.
Single-glazed partitions can accommodate different types and thicknesses of safety glass depending on the system and required performance. Options can include toughened, laminated and acoustic laminated glass. Glass specification also influences acoustic performance, panel dimensions and detailing, so it should be coordinated with the selected partition system.
Yes. Optima partitions can be specified with deflection head options to accommodate vertical building movement. Depending on the detail selected, the system can provide ±25mm or ±40mm vertical deflection allowance, allowing the partition head to respond to movement from the structure above while maintaining the glazed screen below.
