Corporate Social Responsibility

CorporateSocialResponsibility

Creating positive impact through our people, partnerships and communities.

Our corporate social responsibility approach brings together community engagement, charitable support, employee wellbeing and responsible business practices across Optima.

At Optima, we believe that success is measured not only by business growth but also by the positive impact we make on our communities, environment, and stakeholders. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is at the heart of our values, guiding us to operate ethically, promote sustainability, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Through employee-led initiatives, partnerships and targeted programmes, we create opportunities for our people to support causes that matter, strengthen inclusion across the business and make a practical contribution to the communities in which we work.

At Optima, corporate social responsibility means taking responsibility for how we work and the impact we have on our people, our communities and the wider environment. We make decisions with care, considering both their immediate effect and their longer-term impact.

CSR Committee

At Optima, Corporate Social Responsibility is a company-wide value system managed by a committee of eight employees from different areas of the organisation. The team meets monthly to turn shared values into meaningful action, strengthening the initiatives already making a difference and finding new ways to support people, communities and the wider environment. By representing every part of the company, the committee ensures that CSR efforts are collaborative and representative of the entire organisation.

Women in Construction

Optima’s Women in Construction initiative brings together professional development, peer support and wider industry engagement to help women across the business build confidence, strengthen their influence and progress their careers. Alongside the three-month Confidence, Influence & Resilience programme, its activities have included fundraising and awareness events such as a sponsored London walk in support of Construction For Women.
