Revolution 100 double-glazed partitioning was specified to achieve Rw51dB, with Elite Affinity door sets specified to achieve Rw45dB. Together, the systems form meeting rooms and enclosed workspaces designed to support confidential conversations and focused work within a larger collaborative environment. The acoustic figures should be presented against the relevant tested configurations and project specification.

Optima worked with Form DC to develop bespoke oak handles for the Elite Affinity doors. The timber introduces warmth against the glass and aluminium framing, reinforcing the natural material palette used throughout the fit-out. As a small but highly visible detail, the handles give the meeting-room entrances a more individual character while remaining integrated with the door design.

The aluminium profiles used within the partitioning package were manufactured from lower-carbon aluminium with an independently verified embodied carbon value of less than 1.9kg CO₂e per kilogram of aluminium. This supported the project team’s wider environmental objectives alongside the building’s broader sustainability strategy.

The fit-out received recognition at the BCO Regional Scottish Awards, while the project also achieved Gold at the 2025 FIS Scottish Awards. These awards reflect the quality of the completed workplace and the coordination between Form DC, MPact Group and the specialist project teams involved.
