Health, Safety & Quality
Caring for people and protecting the standards behind our work.

Health, safety and quality are fundamental to how Optima operates. They shape the systems we put in place, the decisions made across the business and the standards we expect from ourselves and those working alongside us.
Our approach combines independently certified management systems with experienced leadership, clear responsibilities and a culture in which people are encouraged to care, question and speak up.
Independently certified systems
Our Asia operations are supported by a quality management system certified to ISO 9001. It provides a clear framework for how quality is managed day to day, helping teams work consistently and understand their responsibilities.
That framework carries through into the way we operate, from controlling processes and checking work to recording issues and reviewing performance. It gives teams a structured way to resolve problems, maintain consistency across delivery and improve how we work over time.
Protecting people
The health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, installation teams, partners and everyone affected by our work remain our first responsibility.
Managing quality
Defined processes, documented controls and regular review help us maintain consistency across design, manufacture, project delivery and installation.
Continually improving
We monitor performance, build on what works well and refine our systems to keep standards consistent as the business develops.

We are continually striving for improvement. We ensure our products are of the highest quality, as well as making sure that the health, safety and wellbeing standards of our staff are always progressing.

12 years of consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards
In 2026, Optima achieved its twelfth consecutive RoSPA Gold Award, continuing a record of recognised health and safety performance built over more than a decade.
The RoSPA President’s Award is presented to organisations that have achieved 10 or more Gold Awards. This recognition reflects sustained performance rather than the result of a single year.
