Product notes

Optima 97 is eminently flexible, allowing a choice between single or double boarded configurations within a 97mm overall thickness to suit acoustic or performance specification. A series of unique tapeable aluminium capping profiles, such as our tapeable glazing bar and fair end, guarantee clean lines and precise detailing, with seamless junctions between solid and glazed elements. Tapeable glazing bars are available for use with 117 plus, 217 plus and Revolution 54.

Joggled Studs

Width is locally reduced (joggled) at head to allow outer layers of board to be pinched in. This allows the partition to be taped and filled but without the flaring at the head often associated with proprietary drywall. Studs are cold rolled from 0.6mm gauge galvanized steel. 45mm stud specified if double boarded. 70mm stud specified if single boarded.

Fire Protection

Fire tested to BS476: Part22: 1987 and can satisfy a requirement for 30 minute integrity and insulation. Please contact the Technical Sales Team for more information.
