The Type 1 Frame is supplied with a 'cut-on-site' head to enable flexibility of door leaf width while maintaining the possibility of satisfying the requirements of Part 'M' for minimum clear openings.

The frames are supplied in easy to assemble kit form in a range of heights and are factory prepared for pivots and lock strikes. the head is supplied oversized for cutting to suit on site.

Fitted with acoustic 'batwing' seals, the frame can accept both 10mm and 12mm thick toughened glass door leaves (height determined).

Compatibility

The type One door frame is designed for use in Optima 117 (single glazed) and Optima 217 (double glazed) partition systems.

Are the doors available in either hand?

Yes. Doors can hinge to either left or right.

Can the door be constructed with 10 or 12mm glass?

The door has been designed around 12mm glass but is capable of taking 10mm glass. However, acoustic performance will be reduced.
