The traditional method of installing a glass door in a single glazed partition. Frameless glass doors have no framework on any edge, instead is fitted on the top and bottom edge. Alternatively, a slender stainless steel pivot bar can be specified eliminating the need for visual patch fittings.

Additional information

The door leaf is produced in either 10mm or 12mm toughened glass (height determined). Frameless doors can be installed on either a floor spring or a free-swing floor pivot.

Installation can be carried out under either a fixed glazing head track or a deflection head. In each case, a concealed bar behind a colour matched cover plate supports the pivot pin.

The door can be fitted with back-to-back pull handles or a latch/lock and lever handles.

Compatibility

The door is generally used within the Optima 117 single glazed system.

Are the doors available in either hand?

Yes. Doors can hinge to either left or right.

Can the door be constructed with 10 or 12mm glass?

The door has been designed around 12mm glass but is capable of taking 10mm glass. However, acoustic performance will be reduced.
