Traditional double rebate door frame with lift-off butt hinges. The Type 1 frame is supplied with a 'cut-on-site' head to enable flexibility of door leaf width while maintaining the possibility of satisfying the requirements of Part 'M' for minimum clear openings.
Additional information
The frames are supplied in ease to assemble kit form in a range of heights and are factory prepared for pivots and lock strikes. The head is supplied over-sized for cutting to suit on site.
Fitted with acoustic 'batwing' seals, the frame can sit between 45mm thick door leaves.
Compatibility
The Type 1 door frame is designed for use in Optima 117 (single glazed) and Optima 217 (double glazed) partitioning systems.
