The Potterow project is the latest project which comprises of a new centralised School of Informatics (formally used as a carpark) and has been constructed into offices, meeting rooms, specialist laboratories and a large internal atrium which has greatly imporved academic interaction.

the school is the leading one of its kind in the United Kingdom with a top 5* rating and is the fourth most respected informatics department in the world.
