The Health and Safety of our employees and those affected by our actions is core to the culture of the organisation. In addition to compliance with The Health and Safety at Work Act: 1974, Optima is proud to work in close consultation with its employees and sub contractors. Much of this is reflected in specific Health and Safety initiatives, sub contractor forums and development of multi-lingual induction programmes.
A recent overview by Optima’s insurers has defined Optima as representing a lower risk than comparable companies, due to negligible claims, partly as a result of effective health and safety implementation at all levels.
Optima is a committed member of the Major Constructors Group and demands CSCS card compliance from its operatives and subcontractors. Optima are also working towards the ROSPA Safety award.
