Holmes Architectural Partnership
Cisco Systems Trilogy, is a worldwide supplier of networking equipment for the internet. In August 2008, Cisco moved into it's prestigious new Scottish facility at Eurocentral Business Park, Glasgow. The project cost circa £1.6m consisting of the design and installation of high sound rated partitioning.
Keen on using Optima products within Cisco's new premises, were Glasgow based architects Holmes Architectural Partnership. Working alongside them were AKP Contracts who designed and managed the two-storey, 23,000 sqft internal fit-out of Cisco's new facility.
Optima's Contracting Partner, Scotland based WorkSmart Interiors Ltd, who constructed the private offices within the building including a number of client meeting rooms - working closely with both architects and contractors to ensure all design requirements were achieved.
Products used on this project, were Revolution 97, Optima 97 Advanced Drywall and Optima 117. Products were chosen for compatibility between systems, offering high acoustic Db ratings to enhance privacy and security and offered a wide range of colour choice and overall aesthetics.
These factors allowed the architect to design a scheme that fitted all criteria of the client i.e. modern looking offices but highly functional at the same time. Cisco's need for meeting rooms with the highest acoustic privacy was met with elegant double glazed partitioning.
