Optima Win CMA Award for Best Use of Technical Information

Optima win top award for 'Best use of Technical Information' at the annual Construction Marketing Awards in London.

The annual award which is organised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) recognises company's and professionals who have carried out effective marketing Campaigns within their industry working alongside in-house teams and / or external agencies alike.

Optima submitted their entry for an iOS app which their external Award Winning London Digital Agency, Cyber-Duck, have produced for them. The application was designed to enable iPad users to access Optima's extensive range of Technical literature, Designer Guides, Photo library and numerous other document pools to prevent individuals from searching through numerous printed literature.

Optima have won two awards and have been nominated runner's up for the same category in 2010 in the last three years. The award was presented by Richard Watkins of Ogilvy, who remarked that "The iPad application is forward thinking and offers content focussed upon Optima's target audience .... The User friendly design made the content accessible whilst showcasing Optima's technical ability."
