The Glass Thickness Calculator App
Leading the industry in mobile technical innovation Optima were recently nominated for an award for the innovative Glass Thickness Calculator, an iPhone mobile application developed by Cyber-Duck. The award introduced by Woobius and supported by The Building Centre in London is a first for the construction sector.
The app, designed in response to demand, for a route in which to quickly and effortlessly produce concise calculations on the thickness of glass. The app enables users to calculate a safe glass thickness, based on the load being applied and the height of the glass, before the app specifies an advised glass thickness for the partition. This means users can make accurate calculations when making an estimate on the move.
The Glass Thickness Calculator, is available via iTunes free of charge for all architects, contractors and interior fit out suppliers and installers.
