Optima 217 plus offers an elegant and functional solution for the modern office environment. Combining the flexibility of a range of double glazing configurations in a single slim-line system ensures that specifiers can accommodate all their glazing requirements with a common appearance throughout.
Optima 217 plus offers a new style of dry-glazing to ensure optimum acoustic performance, like all Optima systems, 217 plus carries the assurance of ISO 140-3 acoustic test data from UKAS accredited laboratories.
There is also a new style of mullion enabling silicone-free dry-glazing throughout.
Optima 217 plus has retained the capacity for venetian blinds in the cavity, allowing the user the flexibility of complete privacy or full openness. The system has been designed with complete flexibility in mind in respect of structural movement and standard deflection abutments are available for both head tracks and perimeter junctions.
Optima 217 plus incorporates an integral door jamb and head, dispensing with the need to install a complete door frame. The finished opening can be fitted with a wide range of door options, including the Optima Flush-Framed glass door, frameless glass doors on Optima's Quad hinge and 54mm flush fitting timber doors.
Featuring a slim, invisible mullion, Optima 217 plus offers high acoustic and structural performance with elegant styling. Fully demountable, using crystal dryjoint detailing, Optima 217 plus fully integrates with Optima's 97 Advanced System Drywall and Optima's unique pivoting doorsets. Multiple glass thicknesses, give a wide range of acoustic performance plus manual or electrically opened venetian blinds if desired, make Optima 217 plus a flexible, economic system.

Interpanel Joints
A virtually invisible mullion with clear PETG retaining clip.
Manifestation
A variety of finishes can be applied to the glass - including film, ceramic bake and digital printed or sand-blasted designs - to provide offices with varying degrees of privacy.
Blinds
The head cavity can accommodate 25mm solid slat or perforated tilt-only blinds. They can be manually or electronically operated. We generally recommend that one blind knob controls a maximum of two panels.
Doors
217 Plus can accommodate a wide range of door types to suit both aesthetic and acoustic requirements. Please ask our Technical Team for further details.
Deflection Head System
Optima 217 plus can incorporate a unique extruded aluminium deflection head to accommodate up to +/- 25mm.
