Optima 97 is recognised as the most advanced drywall system available on the market today.

Additional information

A series of unique tapeable aluminium capping profiles, such as our tapeable glazing bar and fair end, guarantee clean lines and precise detailing, with seamless junctions between solid and glazed elements.

The tapered joggled, studs allow the outer layers of the board to be pinched in at the head, thereby eliminating flaring at the head once taped and filled and ensuring a true construction of 97mm constant thickness.

Optima 97 can accommodate a single or double layer of wall board to suit your acoustic specification, and plywood can be used in lieu of plasterboard where fixings into the drywall are required.

The system can be used in conjunction with Optima’s 117, 217 and Revolution glass partitioning systems.  Whether you are looking to create full height plasterboard cross walls with crisp shadow gap details and a seamless interface with the glazed office fronts, or partial height drywall partitions with clerestory glazing, Optima 97 can provide a stunning solution.

FAQ

Joggled Studs

Width is locally reduced (joggled) at head to allow outer layers of board to be pinched in. This allows the partition to be taped and filled but without the flaring at the head often associated with proprietary drywall. Studs are cold rolled from 0.6mm gauge galvanized steel. 45mm stud specified if double boarded. 70mm stud specified if single boarded.

Skirting

Options: Flush (MDF or aluminium), recessed or surface fixed available in various finishes.
