Project Case Study

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has completely refurbished its Art & Design Bonington Building on the City Site with a new front section, two-storey atrium and increased number of exhibition spaces and cafe.

With the University growing rapidly in size, NTU wanted durability, functionality and tacticle use of products within the new refurbishment of the Art & Design building.

Optima's Contracting Partner - Derby based Moda Interiors, constructed the internal offices using Optima 117 to divide the office space.  Free standing Mistral was used in certain areas where escape routes and fire rated criteria needed to be met.  Additional acoustic infill and adjustable blinds answered the brief perfectly whilst enhancing visual privacy within offices.
