As one of the UK's leading universities, Newcastle University’s reputation rests upon the quality of teaching, outstanding research and the services they provide for business and industry.

Optima's Contracting Partner, Leeds based Premier Solutions, transformed the New Sports Centre and Henry Welcome Building into a centre of excellence using bespoke atrium glazing to the side of the staircase.  Optima 217 with 6mm toughened glass was specified for the offices to provide acoustic integrity whilst integral blinds added privacy, providing the ideal solution to the teaching rooms.

These superb new facilities will enhance Newcastle University's position as one of the UK's favourable teaching and research institutions, making it a desirable destination for many students.
